With new laminate for top performance

In autumn/winter 2011/12 GORE RUNNING WEAR® is focusing on the new GORE-TEX® Active Shell Laminate.

GORE-TEX® Active Shell is the magic ingredient, and the product offers a new level of climate comfort. The new laminate from Gore creates the perfect balance between extreme breathability, lightness and optimum weather-proofing.

This is made possible by a unique new lamination technology. A lighter, thinner GORE-TEX® membrane is bound on the outside to fine fibre high-performance textiles and thanks to the new lamination technology the lining is for the first time directly integrated into the GORE-TEX® membrane.
This creates an even more compact three layer design, a completely new level of breathability (RET < 3) and excellent next-to-skin comfort. The extreme breathability of the new laminate is supported by minimalist designs, without any unnecessary pockets and features.
The end result is an all year round solution that is extremely breathable and light, and with its sealed seams and GORE-TEX® membrane guarantees absolutely durable weather-proofing.

Ideal for all athletic all weather sportsmen and women, e.g. trail runners and alpine speed adventurers, who for their short, fast trip need lightweight clothing with optimum moisture regulation but nevertheless do not want to forego guaranteed durable weather-proofing.

The new laminate allows extremely breathable, ultra light and high compression clothing. There are now no more excuses for going outdoors without suitable weather-proofing. Both the jackets and the tights are light to stow, and when running you can hardly feel them against your skin.

In the new AIR GT AS Jacket a ventilation collar at the back, a breast pocket underlaid with mesh and adjustable cuffs ensure an extra flow of fresh air if necessary.
The perfect clothing companion for the jacket is the AIR GT AS Shorts. These shorts offer unrestricted freedom of movement and keep the sensitive thigh area warm and dry.
With the versatile X-RUNNING GT AS Hooded Jacket, trail runners have the optimum solution to hand in any weather. Thanks to the GORE-TEX® stretch gusset in the back and the short sleeves, it allows freedom of movement, even on rough terrain. The forearms are kept warm by optional WINDSTOPPER® arm-warmers, which are included with the jacket.
